English Air Services, a Santa Maria, CA-based Parts 133, 135 and 137 operator specializing in agriculture utility operations, LIDAR/mapping platforms and power line maintenance, has taken delivery a Bell Helicopter 206L3 completely rebuilt by Meridian Helicopters. This is the eighteenth Bell Helicopter 206L3 and 206L4 aircraft refurbishment completed and delivered in recent years by Meridian Helicopters.
“Our goal with this aircraft was a turnkey solution capable of carrying out multiple missions,” said Michael Bashlor, Managing Partner, Meridian Helicopters. “When complete, the plane was about 90% of the time remaining for components and engine, and it just looked and ran great.”
The 1990 Bell 206L3 was equipped for basic utility operations with great care taken in cosmetics and avionics, giving the aircraft commercial appeal. A full Garmin avionics package with Bluetooth technology, climate control, and tricolor leather seats completed the interior specifications, in addition to other modifications. A modern three-tone paint scheme has been added along with wire knock protection, cargo hooks and a barrier-to-entry filter system.
“When looking for an aircraft to buy, English Air Service, LLC looks for quality craftsmanship and a company that takes pride in its work. Meridian has surpassed that. Finding this specific aircraft took some time, we found some for less money, but there was no comparison in the work that went into this 1990 Bell 206L3. The Meridian team was so easy to deal with. “lucky bell” added to each sale is just their latest way of putting their personal touch to their impeccable working standards. We highly recommend Meridian Helicopters for any helicopter purchase,” said Mark English of English Air Services.
Meridian Helicopters is currently refurbishing a 1996 Bell Helicopter 206L4 from scratch and is expected to be completed in late October 2020 to be available for purchase or lease.
