National carrier Vietnam Airlines will restart five routes connecting Phu Quoc to Vinh, Haiphong, Can Tho, Dalat and Thanh Hoa on March 27, with four weekly flights.
The airline will resume Danang-Vinh service in early June with three weekly flights, local media reported.
On March 2, the carrier resumed Danang-Phu Quoc service.
Low-cost carrier Vietjet Air is set to resume the international route between Danang City and Bangkok in Thailand on March 27, while having doubled the frequency of the HCMC-Bangkok route to six weekly flights.
Another local airline, Bamboo Airways, launched a scheduled international flight from Hanoi to Frankfurt, Germany on February 25. The carrier will open Hanoi-London air service on March 22, with two flights a week.
In addition, the airline plans to operate other air services to Europe, such as HCMC-Frankfurt, Hanoi/HCMC-Berlin and Hanoi/HCMC-Munich routes.
